Meet Ashley

Ashley may be the only person you ever meet who wanted to be a Behavior Analyst when she grew up. Her early training in the field of ABA occurred as a behavior technician intern (the RBT role didn’t exist back then) in 2005. Since then, she has provided behavior analytic services to more than 50 children and families in Texas, California, Florida, and New Mexico.

She is a dedicated front-lines leader who spends time focusing on people—her clients and trainees—more than individual achievements. Ashley’s superpower is creating in-depth staff training that translates complicated behavior analytic procedures into easy-to-understand recipes that allow staff to learn skills and become skilled trainers themselves, creating a legacy of trainers. Passionate about helping others become competent practitioners, the move to supervision was a natural fit for her.

At the intersection of science and defiance, Ashley honed the skill of respectfully confronting the status quo. She thrives on discussing the unspoken, testing the unproven, and challenging the unchallenged. Ashley shows others that change needs to happen, but leaves them feeling excited about it.

In her 15 years in the field, Ashley worked alongside amazing teammates, colleagues, and mentors. She wants to use the skills and abilities she’s learned along the way to help supervisees grow into amazing behavior analysts. Ashley believes in the importance of the supervision experience and is excited to be part of future behavior analyst’s stories.

When she’s not taking a deep dive into behavior analysis, she enjoys hiking and drinking coffee while listening to audiobooks. She’s such a nerd.
