meet kim

Buckle up and join us on the rollercoaster ride that is the amazing life of Kim! Ever since she was a spunky 13-year-old, she has held a fierce passion for empowering young minds. Her heart was especially captivated by those with developmental disabilities, sparking her lifelong journey in making a difference.

The tale truly takes off when she volunteered as a coach for the Special Olympics. For a decade, she crafted waves in swimming, tracked success in athletics, rolled strikes in bowling, and flew flags high in football. Her spirit, as vibrant as a firework, uplifted many.

Simultaneously, our vivacious Kim was exploring the world of interior design at a state university when she stumbled upon a golden opportunity to work with children on the autism spectrum. Embracing this adventure in 2005, she instantly fell head over heels for the field, forming unbreakable bonds with those kids.

Choosing to pivot her journey, she switched her major and soon donned the hat of a psychology graduate. But the knowledge-hungry Kim didn't stop there! After a few action-packed years, she chased a master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis and became a superhero to many.

With almost 20 years in the field of ABA, Kim has accumulated a treasure trove of experience and wisdom. She even had the honor to extend her reach to the beautiful land of Malaysia, where she consulted for the Early Autism Project Malaysia. Following her fruitful adventure, she spearheaded the training of multiple clinicians from EAP, guiding them on their journey to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Kim’s expertise spans across all ages, from toddlers of 18 months to adults of 30 years. She's a natural-born problem-solver, thriving on working with fellow clinicians to conjure unique, person-specific learning strategies.

When she isn't out there making a difference, Kim is at home creating culinary masterpieces with her two daughters or hitting the hiking trails with her loyal chocolate lab. Join Kim on her journey of empowering young professionals, while simultaneously cooking up a storm and exploring the great outdoors!
