“When you run into something interesting, drop everything else and study it.” – B.F. Skinner. With roots in engineering, a personal pivot led Elisabeth to explore communication solutions for individuals with physical disabilities via computer science. This journey sparked a thirst for knowledge that ultimately led her to the dynamic world of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

During her undergrad years, she delved into linguistics, American Sign Language, and ESL, always maintaining a keen interest in the patient experience. As she discovered ABA, Elisabeth seamlessly blended her penchant for scientific research with a compassionate, data-driven approach, creating meaningful impacts for clients.

Fast-forward to today, Elisabeth, as a BCBA credentialed practitioner, expertly guides behavior health technicians, RBTs, and BCBA trainees. Advocating for competency-based supervision, she emphasizes a hands-on mentorship that places trainees in control of their learning journey. Passionate about effecting positive change, she continually seeks out practical solutions that enhance lives.

Now at the helm of her career, Elisabeth is pursuing a Ph.D. in school and health service psychology at Duquesne University, furthering her research into the role of behavior scientists in school consultation.

When she switches off her BCBA mode, Elisabeth can be found experimenting with new recipes, keeping up with her latest TV series addiction, or enjoying quality time with her family and their two feline companions.
