meet stephanie
Stephanie has always loved working with kids from teaching swim lessons to working as a teaching assistant, but found her career in Applied Behavior Analysis serendipitously. Fresh out of college and ambitiously searching for a career, a friend suggested working as a registered behavior technician and it was love at first career. Eager to learn more, Stephanie enrolled in Ball State University’s Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis. Within three bustling years, Stephanie transitioned from an RBT (registered behavior technician) to a QASPS (qualified autism services practitioner supervisor) and then, finally, a BCBA.
Some would call Stephanie a knowledge seeker because she recently started her Psy.D. in school psychology through Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Stephanie is passionate about the use of ABA in collaboration with services from multiple disciplines and understanding how integrated services can support more successful client outcomes. Through her experience, she closely worked with IEP teams, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists as well as providers from other disciplines. It was through this collaborative approach she learned her clients achieved better outcomes.
Stephanie prides herself on providing behavior analytic services that are not only meaningful but bring the fun in her client’s favorite spaces. Her aspirational goal is to one day create a space that combines multiple trusted services in one setting to ease stress on families.
In her free time, Stephanie loves spending time with her two dogs, exploring hiking trails around Pittsburgh, and training for half marathons. She also loves gardening, reading, and jamming out at concerts!
